A man has been charged with murder after a 36-year-old was found dead at a home in Lewisham.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the property in Loampit Vale on Sunday morning, after a report of a body inside.
A man, believed to be 36-year-old Sonny Booty, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has not yet been formally identified, but Mr Booty’s next-of-kin have been informed.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command launched a probe into the incident.
On Monday morning, 53-year-old Christopher Baptiste, of Lewisham, was charged with murder.
He will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
