Wolves are the latest English Premier League club to scout Aberdeen youngster Lewis Pirie - as he netted the winner in their Scottish Youth Cup.
The teenager came off the bench to grab the glory in Friday’s 3-2 win over Queen’s Park. Wolves are the latest Premier League side to run the rule over the highly-rated Pirie, who has netted 33 goals for club and country this season. English Premier League rivals Everton and Brighton, as well as Championship promotion hopefuls Sheffield United are also on his trail. Aberdeen are also keen to convince Pirie to sign pro forms, which he is eligible to do in January.
The Scotland Victory Shield frontman has already trained with Jim Goodwin ’s first-team and they are pushing to convince him his long-term future is at Pittodrie. The Dons are also aware of interest from south of the border and have already had declarations of interest.
