Rangers youngster Lewis Mayo will be playing Premiership football next season after joining newly promoted Kilmarnock for the campaign.
The Light Blues defender put pen to paper on a contract extension with the club until 2024 before hooking up with Derek McInnes' men for the upcoming season. The stopper was at Partick Thistle last season in the Scottish Championship but he will make the step up by playing in Scotland's top flight next term.
A short Rangers statement on Twitter read: #RangersFC are today delighted to announce a contract extension for @ScotlandNT Youth International Lewis Mayo. "Mayo's new deal runs to the summer of 2024, and he will immediately join @KilmarnockFC on-loan until the end of this season."
