WHOA.
If you thought Lewis Hamilton would spend the rest of his storied F1 career with Mercedes — the team he’s been with since 2013, with whom he’s won six drivers’ world championships — you may be shocked to find out that’s reportedly not the case.
Per multiple reports on Thursday morning, Hamilton will leave the team for Ferrari to team up with Charles Leclerc in 2025, meaning Carlos Sainz will be out. What’s wilder is that Hamilton signed a new deal with Mercedes last summer, but the reports say that perhaps there was an exit clause in there.
