Sir Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams have sensationally joined a bid to buy Premier League giants Chelsea.

Sky News revealed the two sporting greats are each investing around £10million into the bid spearheaded by Sir Martin Broughton.

Broughton's group are one of three parties left in the running to buy Chelsea from sanctioned Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
