West Lothian superstar Lewis Capaldi stunned customers by serving at a popular eatery in Glasgow's east end at the weekend.
The Someone You Loved singer dined at Amore D'Italia on Sunday night in Dennistoun, and staff let him have a go at pouring pints behind the bar.
The 25-year-old made his highly anticipated return to the stage for the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday night, and treated fans to a stellar performance.
The restaurant shared the hilarious clip of Capaldi behind the bar, writing: "Thank you Lewis Capaldi you're a star!"
Capaldi was visiting the East End eatery on Sunday night with his parents Carol and Mark for Fathers Day, alongside his three siblings Danielle, Anthony and Warren.
The Before You Go singer enjoyed a chicken burger from the renowned Italian restaurant, and posed for photos alongside staff and guests.
Knowing the West Lothian born singer would be appearing in his restaurant for dinner, owner Luca decided to think up something fun for Capaldi to do when he arrived and opted for him to try his hand at bartending.
The video sees Luca, 38, asking Capaldi how long for a pint as the flustered singer works behind the bar.
Capaldi can be seen behind the tap, telling him: "Just a minute."
Before the glass seemingly fills up with mostly foam, Capaldi says: "Oh god, this is not ideal. I'm usually really good at this!"
Speaking to the Daily Record, Luca notes not everyone can say that Lewis Capaldi has poured them a pint.
Fans loved the hilarious video of the Bruises singer putting a shift in at the restaurant.
One commented: "We definitely pick the wrong times to go to Amore!"
Another penned: "Love big Lewis but that pint looks sh***"
A third wrote: "Brilliant," alongside a string of laughing emojis.
During his headlining performance a the Isle of Wight, the singer poked fun at his lack of new singing material, as he updated fans on how he spent lockdown.
He told fans: “I’m very rusty at this. It’s been a while since I did a gig like this, which is also what I tell every girl I have a one night stand with.
“Yes I have had lots of sex. Lots of sex. This is gonna be fun, but I’m very nervous.”
Lewis also added: “I was meant to play new music but I’m a lazy c**t and didn’t do it over lockdown.”
In January 2021, Lewis Capaldi announced that he would be taking a break from social media to ‘crack on and finish’ his follow up to his 2019 debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent.
