Lewis Capaldi to perform at Glastonbury 2023 as superstar secures summer festival gig

Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi is set to perform Glastonbury 2023 with the line-up for the summer music festival having just been announced today (March 3).

The Glasgow-born legend will be sharing the stage with other big singers including Guns N' Roses, the Arctic Monkeys and Lizzo, organisers have announced.

The highly anticipated music festival will take place between June 21 of this year until June 25, starting on a Wednesday and ending on a Sunday.

Other acts in the line-up include Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X and Blondie.

Taking to Twitter to announce the big new to avid music fans and festival-goers, the official account for the event tweeted: " Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2023 line-up poster, which includes our final two Pyramid Stage headliners: @ArcticMonkeys (Friday) and @gunsnroses (Saturday).

"Many more acts and attractions still to be announced."

Taking to their website they added: "This year’s Festival will support Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace and other worthy causes including the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal."

The news comes as Lewis Capaldi is touring across the world with him having just performed in arenas across Europe including in Paris and Copenhagen.
