Lewis Capaldi teaches young girl how to play new song on train station piano

Lewis Capaldi shared a wholesome video on TikTok showing a young girl how to play his new song on the piano in a train station.

The West Lothian singer, who is a regular on social media and often cracking jokes, had viewers reaching for the tissues this time as he approached the young girl and introduced himself.

The clip was filmed within King's Cross station in London as the Forget Me singer taught the girl his new song which is yet to be released. The girl is already playing on the piano when Lewis approaches, but he takes the time to go over and comment on her impressive talent.

Lewis had planned on turning up to busk using the piano and sing a few of his own songs until he noticed the instrument was already occupied. In the TikTok video, he said: "Came to King's Cross to play a couple of my new songs, but there's a little girl on the piano..."

The Daily Record reported that the camera then cuts to Lewis going over and shaking the girl's hand as he says "How are you doing? Very good stuff! You are a very good piano player."

Then, Lewis teases fans with his latest single as he teaches the girl the keys to the tune that he's been working on as viewers noticed the song didn't sound familiar.

The little girl is then seen playing the same keys and when she's finished, Lewis gives her a high-five and says "fantastic, love it" as she smiles and people clap in the background.

The video has already racked up 760,000 views and 110,000 likes in three hours. Many fans loved the video. One wrote: "The way she watched so intently and did so well, she has a bright future with the piano."

Another added: "What an amazing thing to do, you are amazing." While one said: "So wholesome. Such a genuine man. What a core memory you've just made for her. Don't stop being you."

And one said: "Why did this make me cry."
