Lewis Capaldi serenades British Airways passengers at 35,000ft with new track featuring Glasgow

Lewis Capaldi serenaded passengers on a British Airways flight with his brand-new single.

The star belted out the chorus and a verse for the unreleased 'Wish You The Best' crooning 'it seems Glasgow gets further from LA' to stunned fans 35,000ft in the air.

Four unsuspecting Lewis super-fans had been personally invited onto the flight from Heathrow yesterday, completely unaware they were to be treated to a live performance, let alone a tease of the new track.

It’s been a whirlwind return for Lewis, rocketing straight to the top of the UK singles chart with comeback single, ‘Forget Me’ and on latest single ‘Pointless’ which became his fourth UK number 1.

A feature-length Netflix documentary will also be released next month titled 'Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now' and offers a behind-the-scenes insight into his life on and off the stage.

Lewis's new album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' is out on May 15.
