This outstanding number makes it one of the most listened to songs in the platform's history and is more than any other Scottish artist.
The chart topper is the pop star's biggest track according to a study of playlists appearing on the music streaming service, reports Daily Record.

Researchers looked at 41,773 tracks across 995 artist-inspired playlists and found it had been featured in 262 Spotify playlists. Someone You Loved, which was released in November 2018, spent seven weeks at the top of the charts and was named the best selling UK song of 2019.
The following year it became the longest-running top 10 UK single by a British artist.
The 26-year-old singer will delight fans across the country with the tune when he features on BBC’s Hogmanay show later this month.
His second most popular tune is Bruises, which was originally released in 2017 before a re-release in 2020, appearing in 200 playlists.
Before You Go appeared in 194, with Hold Me While You Wait featuring on 177 and Grace on 173. The songs are all from his first studio album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which was released in May 2019.
His second studio album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, is set for release in May.
But the research carried out by media website Casino Guardian found the first two tracks from his upcoming album have already been a hit with fans, with Forget Me added to 142 playlists and Pointless to 107.
Forget Me went No. 1 in the charts in September.
Tickets for Capaldi’s upcoming UK tour sold out in seconds when released in October. He will tour in January and February, with the star performing Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on January 24.
