Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has been busy over the last 24 hours, with the superstar calling his fans to simply say cheers.
Taking to social media over the last couple of weeks, the Someone You Loved singer shared news of his latest single as he encouraged everyone to download it in a bid to secure top spot in the charts.
Promoting 'Pointless' on social media platforms such as TikTok, Lewis soon took to Twitter and asked people to call him as he provided his phone number.

Usually when a phone number is released online, especially that of a celebrity, we often think it's fake. But as it turns out, this isn't fake with the Scottish legend himself confirming that it was indeed him.
In his tweet he said: "call me +447862 126437."
Many of us, of course, quickly jump onto Google to type in a number that we need to call, or that is calling us, to see whether it's a scam as so often companies call with no caller ID.
According to Who Called, there are mixed reviews as to whether or not the number is legit.
Telling people what the number was, one said: "Scam pretending to be Lewis Capaldi."
Another however added: "It is a promo for Lewis Capaldi and getting his song ‘pointless’ to number one. Not a scam you can click the link. It’s safe."
So, screenshotting the results of the page, one Twitter user replied to the singer and Lewis then replied: "aw s*** haha need to get that changed, it's actually me! x"
He later took to Instagram on a live stream to say that he would be calling people who downloaded the single, and he came through with the promise. Now taking to his stories, he can be seen calling his fans, some of which aren't answering, and others who think it's a scammer and hang up.
Dialling Lilly's number, he uploaded a video of himself making the calls. He can be heard and seen saying: "Come on Lily, answer the phone to me."
Thankfully she picks up the phone however when Lewis asks her who her "favourite singer" is, she quickly hangs up and without missing a beat, the singer joked: "Oh she hung up. Obviously it must be Ed Sheeran."
So, if you have recently downloaded 'Pointless' and get a call, it could be Lewis on the other end of the phone.
