Everyone will agree they will sell out....help a mamma out here."

A third wrote: "@LewisCapaldi Need more dates in Glasgow or my 16-year-old is going to have a very disappointing Christmas, was 20,000 in the queue so obviously got nothing."

"I’m going to have a very upset eight-year-old come Christmas morning.. release another Glasgow date," another disappointed parent urged.

One fan tweeted to Lewis: "Scotland's answer to Beyoncé add more dates for Glasgow."

However, others decided to go elsewhere for the gig, with one tweeting: "Couldn't get Glasgow so I'm coming to Madrid. See you again soon."

"@LewisCapaldi Couldn't get tickets, could actually cry. Fingers crossed at another date, wait and see only 3662 in line and I think it’s sold out for Glasgow. More dates please," a fan added.

Another fumed: "I must say I'm very disappointed I pre ordered the new CD so I could get the early access code, only to find out it was not worth the paper it was written on. I started to apply for my tickets as soon as the the early access opened at 9am to no avail. My wife is more than upset."

To which Lewis replied: "Hi mate I'm very sorry you missed out, pre-sale is meant to help genuine people like yourself have the best chance of getting in and stopping re-sellers by having the album order first, unfortunately there's only so many spaces in the venues that not everyone will be able to get a ticket, try to do the most fair thing possible but there's never going to be a perfect way.

"Really sorry your wife is upset, hate reading every single message where someone is left feeling rubbish about it, makes me feel so terrible."
