Lewis Capaldi has joked someone "needs firing" at Netflix after using an old photo of Liz Truss to promote his upcoming documentary How I'm Feeling Now.
The West Lothian singer recently attended the Glasgow premiere of his documentary which will hit the streaming service next month. Lewis, 26, shared a photo of a billboard advertisement for the upcoming flick which featured one of his many celebrity lookalikes instead of him.
Sharing photos of the ad featuring former Prime Minister Liz Truss, he tweeted: "ffs whoever is in charge of the billboards at netflix needs firing."
Responding to the Bruises singers' hilarious tweet, one fan said: "Lewis! When did you get a makeover? Absolutely stunning."
"The future looks bright Lewis. Just embrace it," another added. A third wrote: "I can't even begin to imagine the sequence of events that led to this error. But the main thing is that it did and for that I'm grateful."
The Someone You Loved singer was first compared to Truss last year after one fan tweeted an old photo of the policitian campaigning in the 1990s.
He replied after a fan wrote: "Congratulations @LewisCapaldi on becoming the next Prime minister #LizTruss," and at the time Lewis penned in response: "Why do I look like so many female politicians."
This isn't the first time Lewis has had an unusual celebrity lookalike, as he was recently compared to a Harry Potter character. Taking to TikTok, Lewis said: "This one time I was at an after party after being out one night and this random guy came up to me and said that I looked like Mad Eye Moody from Harry Potter."
Comparing himself to a photo of the character, Lewis added: "I kinda get it."
The Scots singer was also part of the BBC Scotland Hogmanay line-up where he joined host Edith Bowman to bring in the bells. After sharing a clip from his performance on social media, the Bruises singer was left a comment which read: "Lewis, my dad saw you on TV and thought you were Susan Boyle."
The Scots stars documentary is set to give an intimate and personal insight into the production of his second album, as well as his struggles with anxiety and his Tourette's diagnosis.
Lewis Capaldi's Netflix documentary How I'm Feeling Now will be available to stream on Netflix on April 5, 2023.
