BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee continued into its second day on Sunday, as around 85,000 revellers descended on Camperdown Park.
And fans who attended on Sunday were given a heartwarming surprise when Lewis Capaldi leapt on stage alongside his close pal Niall Horan during his set, with many people taking to social media to gush over the pair's "sweet" friendship.
They had caught up before the performance kicked off backstage, with Lewis hilariously taking to his social media to show him popping into the former One Direction star's dressing room to say hello, only to realise he wasn't there.
But the Scots singer, 26, was left in stitches when he saw how much make-up was left dotted around Niall's dressing room, as he joked: "Look at all this, look at what it all takes to get him on stage."
Niall had been performing his track 'Heaven' when Lewis decided he wanted to join the 29-year-old singer on stage for a hug, and it sent fans into a frenzy as they took to Twitter to gush over the moment.
"@NiallOfficial & @LewisCapaldi TOGETHER!!! I’m so happy for them both!!!!!!!," penned one fan on Twitter as they shared snaps of the duo wrapping their arms around each other on stage.
Someone else wrote: "The best friendship ever," as they shared an eye-watering emoji, whilst someone else said: "Niall and Lewis are goals."
"That kiss on forehead," penned another fan, and another user said: "besties for life!!," as the shared heart emojis and tears.
