West Lothian singing sensation Lewis Capaldi been forced to postpone two gigs from the tour due to his health.
He announced on social media last night how sorry he was that both the Zurich and Milan shows would need to be rescheduled due to developing bronchitis in his throat.
He is currently making his way through one of his biggest world tours yet, as he makes soundwaves across 11 countries.
The illness has affected his singing voice and he has been instructed by doctors to rest. He made the announcement on his Instagram to his 6million followers after performing in Stockholm on Sunday night.
He admitted his voice "barely made it through" the performance in the Swedish capital, and he thanked fans for belting the lyrics out for him and said he would be visiting the "voice doctor" after the show. He wrote: "I'm absolutely devastated to be typing this.
"As lots of you know for the past few nights of the tour I've been really struggling with my voice, last night in Stockholm I tried my best to sing through the show even with it feeling really uncomfortable because I was desperate not to let any of you down."
He added: "I've just been to see a voice specialist in Sweden who's told me I've got bronchitis and that I should be on vocal rest for at least three days to give me any chance of not damaging my voice and being able to continue touring."
The Pointless singer said that he was "so very sorry" at the news meaning he would have no choice but to postpone both the Zurich show on Tuesday night and Milan show on Wednesday - but promised fans he has already checked with the venues to come back.
He confirmed the Milan show will now go ahead on Wednesday, May 31, with the Zurich show postponed until Wednesday, June 28, with all original tickets for the sold-out shows still valid for those dates.
Lewis, who admitted he was "buzzing" for the shows, added: "Hate letting you all down and this is the last thing I want to be writing. Going to be doing everything I can with rest and medication to be ready for Barcelona onwards."
Meanwhile, last month, Capaldi broke the record for the biggest-selling indoor live show in Scotland. He sold more than 15,000 for his concert at the P&J Live arena in Aberdeen, which took place on January 23 as part of his current UK and Ireland headline tour.
