Lewis Capaldi claims Noel Gallagher wouldn't attend his gig 'for all the money'

Lewis Capaldi has revealed that fans have no chance of seeing rockstar Noel Gallagher at one of his gigs – despite the pair now being friends.

The hitmaker, 26, who is currently on his sold-out Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent tour across the UK has been delighting fans with his killer vocals and performance.

However, despite once feuding with Oasis star Noel, before they went on to makeup, Lewis believes that the dad-of-three would never be seen at one of his shows.

During his headline set at Manchester's AO Arena, Lewis shared a string of reasons as to why he loves Manchester – including both football teams.

However, when he mentioned Oasis, the crowd erupted into cheers before sharing their love for their favourite brother, Liam, while Noel received a mixed response.

But this changed when Lewis claimed Noel was set to join him on stage later in the evening as a surprise guest, leaving fans ecstatic for a short period.

Much to their disappointment, the Forget Me hitmaker added: "Noel wouldn't come to my show for all the money in the world," before laughing off his comment.

After once clashing, Noel has since revealed Lewis is a "good lad" having met one another "a couple of times".

He said: "I'd joked during a radio interview, saying of one record, 'Who the f**k's this ****?', 'How does he sell more than me?'.

"That ended up taking a life of its own but I've met him a couple of times, he's a good lad, even at that point he was a mate of my daughter's and she was saying, 'Why are you slagging off Lewis?'"

Having delivered a set of jaw-dropping songs, Lewis brought the show to a halt and requested security removed a woman who started a brawl in the crowd.

He said: "They are scrapping in the crowd there, erm, we are going to have to get them out, we can't be fighting," before explaining it was a "weird" decision to fight during his hit single Hold Me While You Wait.

The Scottsman also received praise from the crowd after being made aware a fan on the sold-out standing floor appeared to have passed out, leading him to again stop the show while instructing members of the security staff to head over to help the music lover.

It comes just days after Capaldi announced three Summer shows in Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast to celebrate the release of his second studio album.
