Lewis Capaldi announces second Scottish show with McFly supporting

Lewis Capaldi has announced that he will play a second date at Edinburgh after the original date sold out in seconds.

Last month, fans were left gutted when tickets completely sold out for his new outdoor show at The Royal Highland Showgrounds in September this year.

And now, the Pointless singer has added a second show at the same venue on August 30.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 17 here. But fans who are signed up for the pre-sale will be able to get their hands on tickets on Thursday 16.

Supporting both dates is McFly.

When the initial pre-sale took place, the site crashed as 90 per cent of tickets were purchased during the early-bird access, and the general sale was only live for seconds before selling out.

The 26-year-old took to Twitter to say that he was "lost for words".

He said: "actually properly lost for words 30,000 of ya just sold this out in seconds!!!!! i am your humble king."

Lewis has recently finished his UK arena tour and is set to play The BRIT Awards this weekend.

Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster here.
