Levi Colwill price rockets
Chelsea have offered Levi Colwill a new contract in order to tie him down at Stamfod Bridge, according to reports. The 20-year-old is currently away with England Under-21s on international duty at the European Championships.
It is said that he will not be committing to anything until after meetings with Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine starts officially at Chelsea today and will have the chance to catch up with Colwill after his return.
For Chelsea it is further evidence of why they rejected two bids of £30million and £40million from Brighton for the player in the past month. Having already agreed to let Mason Mount go as well as Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham, Colwill is not a player they wish to lose.

Barcelona confirm Frenkie de Jong bid
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that the club received a massive bid for midfielder Frenkie de Jong last summer. The midfielder was targetted by both Chelsea and Manchester United.
His saga revolved around being at the centre of contract and wage disputes at Camp Nou with the Catalan side in desperate need of extra finances. De Jong, though, was always set on remaining in Spain.

"Last year it happened and we were worse," said Laporta. "We had an offer of €100 million for De Jong and we were right not to accept it.
"We’ve received offers for Pedri, Ansu Fati, [Andreas] Christensen, de Jong and [Ronald] Araújo but we think they have to continue. They are the present and the future of the club."

Nicolas Jackson announced
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of 22-year-old Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson on an eight year deal. The Blues reached an agreement worth around £30million for the Senegal international and have announced him as the third signing of the summer.
Following from Christopher Nkunku and Kendry Paez joining earlier this window, Jackson is the first to have come since Mauricio Pochettino agreed to take over with deals in place for the other duo well before his committment.
Chelsea also confirmed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek has left the club to join AC Milan after 19 years at Stamford Bridge. It is believed to be in a transfer worth around £18million.
