Centre-half Stuart Nicol chipped in with a double as Letham signed off their Midlands League home campaign with another three points.
Connor Galletly was also on the scoresheet in the 3-0 victory against Dundee St James at Seven Acres on Saturday afternoon.
While his main role is keeping teams out at the other end, manager Sean Whitworth was not shocked to watch man of the match Nicol find the back of the net twice.
“Stu played great on Saturday,” Whitworth told the Perthshire Advertiser. “He’s been a fantastic addition to the squad.
“His goals that he got were no surprise to me as I know what a threat he can carry when given the opportunity to go forward.
“I thought he was very much deserving of his man of the match award.”
Nicol had broken the deadlock in the 19th minute by turning in Andrew Mackenzie’s free-kick from wide on the left.
He would add his second moments into the second half when this time finishing from six yards out following a Dale Smart corner.
The points were well and truly wrapped up with 82 minutes on the clock. Aidan Edwards cut the ball back for Galletly who tapped into an unguarded net.
“I thought we played well throughout,” added Whitworth, whose side sit ninth in the standings. “We created a lot of chances and limited them to only a few.
“I was particularly delighted to keep a clean sheet as that is something we have not done in a while.
“St James have been on a really good run of results recently, so I’m really pleased with the performance and result.”
Scone Thistle again had heads turning in the Midlands League by welcoming high-flying Dundee North End and picking up a 2-1 win. Sean Hastie was at the double.
The result was particularly pleasing for manager Charlie King following the disappointment of a defeat to Coupar Angus last Wednesday.
“I was absolutely delighted for the players,” King said.
“The reaction was the key after Wednesday night and we got that from each and every one of them.
“There was huge disappointment on Wednesday but we met early on Saturday to get it out our system. Once that was dealt with we quickly turned our focus onto the game against North End.
“Togetherness got us through and it was a very impressive performance.
“Hopefully we’re now sending a message out to other teams who used to look forward to coming to Scone that there is a wee something to think about now.”
Coupar Angus kept the Perthshire - and their own - success rolling at the weekend by defeating Forfar West End 4-1 at Foxhall Park.
Despite falling behind, goals from Robbie Norrie (2), Lee Roeleveld and Dom Blair secured a second successive victory. They now travel to Lochee United tomorrow evening.
There was no such joy for near neighbours Blairgowrie at Davie Park on Saturday. Mark Brash’s men went down 6-1 against Dundee East Craigie. Matty Adam netted the late consolation.
