Last week saw concerns being raised over the safety of the Metrolink route to Oldham, as well as the effect on the area itself. With this in mind, we want to know if you feel safe on the tram in Manchester.
A study on how to implement levelling up had one participant saying that 'you take your life into your hands' when hopping on the tram from Oldham.
It was also found that many participants avoided the tramline at night, as well as linking it with crime and intimidation.

Responding to the report, one reader said: "I had to travel to Rochdale last week from the city centre at around 7.30pm. It was full of intimidating youths that have no respect for anything or anyone and thought it was perfectly acceptable to smoke on the tram."
Another person responded: " Kids jumping on and off trams for free because there are no barriers on most stations outside the city on most lines. Awful things at night."
Someone else shared their thoughts, saying: "I was in favour of the tram system at first, but I wouldn't get on one now if it was free!
"Too dangerous on the actual tram and the stops can be in isolated areas like the stop for Withington or they are surrounded by exceptionally busy roads. They may be popular with commuters but for the rest of the time they are dangerous places."
