'Let them arrange' - Josko Gvardiol makes transfer admission after sharing Liverpool dream

Croatian World Cup star Josko Gvardial has admitted he is in "no hurry" to leave RB Leipzig after revealing Liverpool is his "dream" club.

The 20-year-old played seven matches in the heart of Croatia's defence in Qatar alongside former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren, but has been the subject of interest from Chelsea.

Liverpool seem to be in no hurry to add defensive reinforcements to their squad with full focus on the midfield, but the option of the talented Croatian may be one that is too good to pass up.

However, Joe Gomez has not been at his best when called upon at times this season while Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip are not getting any younger. A defensive partnership of Gvardiol and Ibrahima Konate would sort the Reds out for years to come.

The defender would come with a large price tag though after his strong performances for Leipzig and his fantastic display at the World Cup really put him into the spotlight with only Lionel Messi getting the better of Gvardiol.

Gvardiol came close to a move to Chelsea in the summer as the defender could well be on the move in six months time: "I'm not in a hurry. I'm at Leipzig and we still have six months to finish the season and to win something. And then we will look further to the future. Last summer a transfer was close and they simply kept me. I hope to spend these six months with them [Leipzig].

"Chelsea did not give up, but it was agreed that we would go for the winter," Gvardiol told RTL Danas. "Winter has come, so we need to see what and how to proceed, but it's okay, there's still plenty of time, so we'll see. Nobody presented anything to me. But I'm not in a hurry, we have time, let them arrange the plan and we'll see."
