President Donald Trump appeared to briefly nod off during a 9/11 commemoration at the Pentagon on Friday, Sept. 11, as cameras captured him sitting beside First Lady Melania Trump with his eyes closed and head tilting to one side during the ceremony honouring the 184 people killed at the Pentagon in 2001.
The Pentagon event marks the moment American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the building, killing military personnel and civilians. The president and first lady were seated near the front as relatives of victims, senior defence officials and service members gathered to remember those who died and to observe a moment of silence.
