The Family Fortunes host said he harbours no hard feelings towards his ex-wife, who he praised for saying "nice" things about him recently. He said: "We’re not in touch but I am happy that she’s happy."
Les added: "I can watch Britain’s Got Talent without getting angry. To be honest it’s like watching a different person, someone I’ve never met.”
Amanda has previously said it was her ex-husband who got her through the period after their split. She told the Daily Mail: "Les proved to be my saviour. Ironically. So the person I’d hurt the most in the world was the one who was there for me.
“It was a very dark time. It got to the point where I felt I could hardly breathe.” She added: “I brought it on myself, I appreciate that, but nothing will ever be as bad again.”
Les is now happily married to Claire Heseltine and they share two children.
