Arsenal are on the hunt for further reinforcements in the attacking third this summer following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus and a number of big names have already been linked with moves.
Leeds United winger Raphinha emerged as a top target but Barcelona recently agreed a deal to sign the Brazilian leaving Mikel Arteta looking for alternative options. Cody Gakpo and Serge Gnabry have both been linked with moves but an exciting name has recently been discussed by Arsenal supporters.
Mikel Arteta has shown a tendency to target those he has previously worked with during his Manchester City days and Leroy Sane has emerged as the latest target. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, his was a name discussed at the start of the summer transfer window.

“Yeah I mean Sane to Chelsea is a kind of link that has been developed after Chelsea realised they wouldn’t get Gnabry and the Gnabry thing was a bit of a non-starter because he was always going to sign a new deal," he told The Done Deal Show.
“The Sane thing is something to watch in the coming weeks. It’s not a link that I have yet put to sources and contacts other than a month ago, and the intonation was that Real Madrid might come in for Sane and I think that they would consider it if another club made a move.”
“A move to La Liga could be more likely, I’ve not heard rumblings at the Chelsea end, I’ve actually heard more rumblings from Arsenal that this was a name being considered at the beginning of the window, but then they turned their attentions to Raphinha.”
With Raphinha's move to Barcelona now confirmed, could they turn their attention back to Sane?
