Tom Brady did not like what he was seeing in the news on March 21.
On that day, former free-agent running back Leonard Fournette was visiting with the New England Patriots, Brady’s former team. Not only would Fournette be burning Brady by leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the running back would also be joining Brady’s ex: Bill Belichick.
Not cool dude! At least, that’s roughly what Brady texted Fournette following his free-agent visit with Belichick and the Patriots.
“What’s your [expletive] doing up there?” Brady asked Fournette via text, the running back revealed during a meeting with the media in Tampa at Buccaneers minicamp on Tuesday.
Fournette said before he re-signed with Bucs as he visited the Patriots, Brady reached out to him and said “What’s your ass doing up there?”

And it didn’t work out in New England — perhaps because Brady stepped in.
