The 36-year-old singer, who shot to fame after winning X Factor in 2006, is due to give birth later this year.
A source told The Sun: “Leona and Dennis are absolutely over the moon.
“They have passed the 12-week milestone and told their family and friends at the beginning of the year.
“They can’t wait to welcome their new arrival and to become a family of three.”
Lewis and her creative director partner Jauch are going to publicly announce the pregnancy later this month, the paper added.
The pop star married Jauch at a lavish Tuscan estate in Italy in 2019.
The couple were married in a Buddhist ceremony attended by 180 friends and family members including former Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan and The Voice winner Jermain Jackman.
The pair met in 2010 when Jauch was a backing dancer on Lewis’s The Labyrinth tour, and got engaged on their eighth anniversary in 2018.
Speaking ahead of the wedding, Lewis said: “We’re so ready to do this. Dennis is the most kind, considerate person I’ve ever met. He’s been my rock through my crazy ups and downs and everything I’ve gone through in my life.”
Simon Cowell was invited to the celebrations but was unable to attend due to the filming schedule for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
The music mogul told HELLO! at the time that he was “thrilled” for the newlyweds and wished them “all the best for their journey ahead.”
“It was just the most beautiful day, full of love,” Lewis told the publication. “It was so special to be able to bring together everyone we love. There were a lot of tears.
“The room already had so much good energy and having all the love in there was really powerful.”
