Leon Osman has explained the challenges he believes Kevin Thelwell and Everton are going to be facing in this month’s transfer window
All eyes are on Thelwell and Everton’s recruitment team as they aim to bring in attacking reinforcements. The Blues are in desperate need of attacking options as they aim to move out of the relegation zone.

The ECHO reported on Friday that work is ongoing behind-the-scenes, with Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga among what is said to be a detailed list of targets. However, no new faces have yet arrived at the club, with the exception of Ellis Simms, who has returned from a successful loan spell at Sunderland.
Farhad Moshiri sends Everton open letter
Everton chief Farhad Moshiri has today responded to growing concerns among the fanbase over how the club is run.
And he has reaffirmed his commitment to ownership of the club - as well as delivering a vote of confidence in manager Frank Lampard.
The Blues are currently in the Premier League relegation zone, with only 15 points to show from 18 top flight matches so far this term. Many fans are worried that the situation is beginning to mirror last season's struggles and late escape from the drop. Questions are also being asked about the long-term direction Everton is going in and the roles of those in charge.
Ahead of this weekend's game at home to Southampton, more than a dozen supporter groups have come together to announce plans for a 'sit-in' protest at Goodison Park after the match on Saturday.
