Leon King is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester United, Newcastle and Leeds as interest heats up in the talented Rangers kid.
18-year-old King has impressed under Gio van Bronckhorst after taking advantage of defensive injuries to rack up nine appearances already. John Souttar and Filip Helander's continued absences meant King slotted into the back five against Liverpool at Anfield and while he endured a tough night, it seems his maturity and defensive presence are causing some of the biggest names in football to stand up and take notice.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Red Devils, as well as Newcastle and Leeds, have already "sent scouts" to watch King, who could make another appearance on Wednesday night when they welcome Liverpool to Ibrox. He penned a new contract at Ibrox back in January but it only runs until 2024, meaning next season will be the last on his deal unless he signs renewed terms.
King was linked with a move to Aston Villa before signing his latest Rangers deal and it now appears a move to the English Premier League could still be on. In total, King has played 17 times for Rangers and is one of Gio van Bronckhorst's most highly-rated prospects.
