Gaming laptops require impeccable balance to shine. Excellent specs require paying top dollar, and as things get cheaper, vital aspects of a laptop’s design are sacrificed. I recently reviewed the exceptional Razer Blade 14, and while it cheaps out on no aspect of its make, the $2,699 price tag clearly indicates why. When laptops of this kind get into the $1,500~ range, major elements get tossed onto the chopping block.
