Jamie Vardy found the back of the net twice yesterday for Leicester City to become the second oldest player to do so in successive Premier League games, only behind former Bolton Wanderers star Youri Djorkaeff.
Vardy was among the goalscorers for the Foxes as they romped to a 5-1 win on the road over relegated Watford. As well as Vardy's brace, James Maddison and a Harvey Barnes double were also on the scoresheet.
The veteran forward had also scored twice in Leicester's previous top flight clash against also relegated Norwich City. He bagged a brace, while Maddison also found the back of the net.

The victory for the Foxes has placed them ninth in the Premier League table. They have a game in hand over eighth placed Wolves.
Vardy is now aged 35 but there no signs his goalscoring talents are fading away in the advanced years of his career. His contract at the King Power Stadium runs until the summer of 2023 and his time there could be extended beyond that.
And by scoring successive braces in the top flight, Vardy is the second oldest player to do so, behind former Wanderers star Djorkaeff. The Leicester player was aged 35 years and 124 days when he achieved the feat.
Djorkaeff meanwhile did the same in the 2003/04 campaign. The former France international scored twice initially in the 4-1 victory against Leeds United at the Reebok Stadium in May 2004.
He then repeated the feat a few days later on the road as Wanderers won 2-1 over Everton at Goodison Park. He was aged 36 years and 60 days when he did so.
Wanderers finished the 2003/04 campaign eighth in the top flight under Sam Allardyce, with Charlton Athletic ahead in seventh on goal difference. Djorkaeff scored 21 goals in 80 games for the Whites between 2002 and 2004.
