A legendary wrestler told his supporters in a message slamming Donald Trump that the former president is "screwing over the working man."
Mick Foley, a Hall of Famer in the WWE, shared a video message to his social media Wednesday, vocalizing his disdain for Trump and support for Kamala Harris.
"I don't want to talk about politics...but I feel like I have to. There is simply too much on the line to stand on the sidelines, because I don't want to lose some fans," Foley captioned the video, which has since garnered more than 475,000 views.
In the video, Foley referenced the support Trump has received from other wrestlers. "The Undertaker is correct in saying Donald Trump made politics fun again... for about three weeks in 2016. But it's eight years later and there's absolutely nothing fun about this man," he said in the video.
Throughout the video, Foley includes screengrabs and links to news articles where Trump made controversial statements, such as the former president's repeated phrase "the enemy from within" and a link to a 2016 Vox article on allegations of corruption.
"What frustrates me the most is that so many good, hardworking, American people cannot see through such an obvious conman who was only out for himself. The idea that the working man thinks this guy is behind them has obviously not looked into his past," Foley said.
Foley encouraged fans to do their own research, linking another 2016 article from The Hill which stated that Trump refused to pay "hundreds" of workers.
"He claimed it's because they didn't do good work. This coming from a guy who claims he only hires the best people. I claim he's screwing over the working man," Foley said in the video.
Foley even shared a story told to him personally by former wrestler Kevin Nash, who told Foley that he met a bartender who said that Trump refused to pay his father for the electrical work he did in a former Taj Mahal venue.
"Trump knows that the people, honest, hardworking contractors don't have the resources to fight him in court, and he bankrupts them, and their dreams disappear. That's not standing up for the working man," Foley said in the video.
Foley ended the video by encouraging his supporters to vote for Harris, which was met with mixed reactions in his comment section.
"Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years and basically everyone agrees the country is on the wrong track," one user commented. Another wrote, "Mick! I can't tell you how much this post means to me. Thank you for this."
