Late last week, former Baltimore Ravens punter Sam Koch decided to call it a career after 16 amazing seasons in the NFL. He impacted so many people both on and off of the field, and has been getting congratulatory messages for days about his retirement.
One of the messages he received was from legendary punter Pat McAfee, who mentioned that Koch re-invented the game with different punts and different kicks. McAfee showered praise on Koch for what he brought to the position, and clearly wanted to show his appreciation for one of the best punters in the business.

Koch was a member of “the wolf pack” that also included included Justin Tucker and Morgan Cox. McAfee went on to say that a lot of fellow punters watched his film and learned from him. It marks just a bit of the massive amounts of praise for Koch, who was successful at his job for 16 seasons in the National Football League.
