Parents will be considering which schools to send their children to in the next few months.
And to help with the choice we have produced a list of the 'worst' schools in Leeds. By 'worst' we mean those rated 'inadequate' or 'requires improvement' by the government schools inspector Ofsted in their latest inspections.
First of all, an Ofsted inadequate rating doesn't mean the school is the de facto worst, hence our use of quotation marks. Some of these Ofsted inspections may be a couple of years old, in which time the school may have improved.

'Requires improvement' replaced the 'satisfactory' rating a decade ago. A school which 'requires improvement' isn't necessarily 'bad' per se. We have included the date of the inspection so you can see at a glance, how up-to-date it is.
