Fuming residents from across Leeds have voiced their outrage at inconsiderate pavement parkers, while also revealing the worst streets for this annoying practice.
The comments came in response to a post shared online by West Yorkshire Police, which urged people not to park on the pavement as it was both irresponsible and dangerous, while citing a recent vehicle on Selby Road, Swillington Common that had been seized for blocking the footpath.
“Please do not park your vehicle on the pavement. This type of parking is irresponsible and causes a danger to people using the pavements. Today, this van, parked on the pavement on SELBY ROAD, SWILLINGTON COMMON has been seized by the Police for causing an obstruction. You said we did.”
