Wednesday, February 7 is set to be a sunny day with above-average weather, with significant haze hitting Leeds until the early afternoon.
Visibility in Leeds will not. improve markedly throughout the day, and the haze will completely disappear at 11pm. There is little chance of rain, if at all, with only a 10 per cent chance of precipitation.
It will be clear but change to couldy by late morning. A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Fine and dry with hazy sunshine for much of the day. Turning increasingly cloudy from the northwest later, with patchy rain or drizzle possible overnight. Maximum temperature 8 °C."

But that the biggest piece of news about the weather in in Leeds could be the Sudden Stratospheric Warning (SSW) which is on course to happen towards the end of the month and the Met Office has spoken of it for the first time, telling people what to expect. In the past, an SSW caused the 'Beast from the East, which brought extreme weather and brought the UK and Yorkshire to a standstill.
