Leeds is set for a calm dry morning on Thursday, November 23, with an early burst of sunshine, albeit hidden behind some clouds.
A flood alert is in place, for Tidal River Ouse from Naburn Lock to Selby, close to Leeds, but no rain is expected until late afternoon, so the alert only points to a possibility. The afternoon should be marred by strong cold winds however, with gusts over 30mph.
Although the actual temperature will hover around the 10C mark, the Met Office says it will feel a lot more like 7C, making Leeds the coldest in Yorkshire. Two hours of rain are expected between 3pm and 5pm.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "A chilly and bright start, before a band of rain, locally heavy with strong squally winds moves quickly eastwards during the afternoon, clearing by evening.
"Temperatures will be near normal. Maximum temperature 9 °C."
"Largely dry with sunny spells Friday, after a chilly start. Dry at first Saturday, before wet and windy weather arrives later. Rain probably clearing to drier and brighter skies Sunday."
