Leeds weather on Monday as temperatures finally rise

Its going to be a warmer day in Leeds today as temperatures are expected be be consistently in double figures throughout the afternoon but rain is also on its way.

According to the Met Office, it will largely be cloudy today with outbreaks of rain in the city. It is expected to rain from midnight until 6am this morning.

At 6am, it will be around 9C despite the rain, which should then stop in the next hour. Throughout the morning the temperature should rapidly rise to 13C at midday.

This temperature will be maintained throughout the afternoon until the evening. It will also be cloudy for the majority of the day with some outbreaks of rain.

By 8pm, the temperature will drop back down to 12C before rain starts up again at around 9pm. The temperature will stay at this level for the rest of the evening.

The Met Office said: "Monday will be cloudy with further outbreaks of rain. Becoming generally dry by the afternoon, but thick cloud often remaining. Mild, with winds remaining light.

"Maximum temperature 13 °C."
