Leeds weather on Monday as brief sunny intervals, rain and wind forecast

It’s going to be a dark but dry start to the day in Leeds during the early morning with some sunny spells expected as the day goes by.

The sun will rise at 7.50am, with no rain expected, throughout the morning but people should expect light showers at around 3 to 5pm.

However, there will be brief sunny intervals around 1pm.

There will be more showers into the evening before 8pm but it will be dry as we go into the night. The sun will set around 5.50pm according to the Met Office.

This comes after a morning of heavy showers in the city on Sunday (October 23) but the rain stopped just before 1pm.

Across Yorkshire, the weather will be similar to Leeds with most starting dry with sunny spells but wins are also to be expected.

The Met Office states: “Most parts starting dry with sunny spells, although isolated showers still possible. Showers more likely by the afternoon, locally heavy and blustery. Winds also increasing, but remaining mild.. Maximum temperature 16 °C.”
