Leeds is set to see another grey and cloudy start to the day on Wednesday followed by clear sunny skies in the afternoon.

The Met Office is forecasting an overcast beginning between 6am and 11am before the skies clear and sunny spells take over. Temperatures will start low at around 7C and 8C before rising to a maximum of 13C and 14C in the mid-afternoon.

As the day continues, the temperature will hold steady between 12C and 13C before dropping from around 8pm as the sun begins to set. The rest of the week will see further sunny spells with some showers predicted on Friday and across the weekend.

Another fine, sunny day once any lingering low cloud clears. Feeling rather warm in sheltered spots, but fresh easterly winds make way for a cooler day, especially for windward coasts. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Throughout the remainder of the week it will be cloudier on Thursday although still plenty of sunny spells expected. Becoming more unsettled on Friday and Saturday with bands of rain and showers moving across the region. Turning colder.
