After a very wet day where some parts of Yorkshire saw winds up to 65mph and Leeds endured lots of rain and wind, Thursday, November 2, is set to be a welcome break.
The Met Office expects brief periods of drizzle, but nothing else. A spokesperson for the Met Office said: " A mainly dry, bright start away from western hills where some showers may linger.
"Otherwise, a mostly sunny day, perhaps with a few very isolated afternoon showers. Light winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C."

It will make for good weekend plans, as Friday is expected to follow the same path. A spokesperson for the Met Office added: "Bright, rather breezy on Friday with isolated showers.
"Cloudier with occasional rain Saturday. Risk of fog early Sunday, then a mix of sunny spells and showers. Temperatures near normal."
