Leeds wants Universal Credit to be scrapped for a 'better system'

People from Leeds have been speaking out about why they think the Universal Credit system is in need of reworking.

A proposal from the Commission on Social Security suggested getting rid of the benefit and replacing it with a £163.50 'Guaranteed Decent Income' paid to all adults with earnings below that level.

In response, several people from Leeds said they'd be glad to see the back of Universal Credit (UC).
