A decision over whether to cancel this next round of Premier League fixtures, including Leeds United vs. Nottingham Forest, will be made this morning.
The Premier League and EFL will meet with the government at 9am today (Friday, September 9) to agree a position on the games following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
It was confirmed on Thursday evening that the round of EFL games due to be played today have been postponed, with the rest of the coming days' games in the top four leagues likely to follow suit. At the time of writing, Forest are due to face Leeds away on Monday, with both teams struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table.

According to a report from The Guardian, there are "indications from the government that the palace is not keen to have a lengthy period without fixtures or events". That suggests if this weekend's game are postponed, a return to action could be swift.
They also report that "some in the game are mindful of not taking up police resources or barriers, while others believe a longer period of mourning would be more appropriate."
Various events due to take place across the sports of horseracing, cricket, golf and others this weekend have already been cancelled as the country enters a period of mourning. While yet unconfirmed, it seems likely that football will follow suit.
