Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest simulated to get a Premier League score prediction

Nottingham Forest will be looking to end a seven-game winless streak when they face Leeds United in the Premier League tonight.

Steve Cooper's side produced one of their best performances in weeks in their last outing, with Forest unlucky not to pick up three points as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Wolves. Currently sitting 15th in the Premier League and just one point off the relegation zone, victory on Tuesday night could prove huge for the Reds.

It will be a tough ask though, with Forest having only won once away from home all season. Leeds are just one point behind Forest as the Whites also fight relegation, but Cooper's side are unbeaten against Leeds in the last six meetings, with history falling in the Reds' favour.

We predict that Nottingham Forest will line up in a 4-3-2-1 formation, with the lineup looking as follows: Navas; Williams, Felipe, Niakhate, Lodi; Danilo, Freuler, Mangala; Johnson, Dennis; Gibbs-White.

Forest were fantastic in the opening stages of the game, with Cooper's side creating lots of chances, but just falling short at the final hurdle. Illan Meslier made a few good saves as the Reds looked on the verge of scoring, but against the run of play, Leeds went ahead.

The hosts took a corner short, catching out Forest who were short-numbered at the back. Leeds did well to work the ball around the box and to the feet of Weston McKennie in the area, and after turning past his marker, the midfielder struck past Keylor Navas at the near post to make it 1-0.

After the goal, Forest continued to dominate, with Meslier on top form to deny Johnson another two times from close range before the end of the half. The pressure from Cooper's side continued in the second half, and Forest were awarded a penalty on the hour mark when Emmanuel Dennis was brought down by Neco Williams.

Morgan Gibbs-White stepped up to take, but Meslier guessed right, diving to the left and pushing the penalty onto the bar. Johnson then met the rebound with a header, but Meslier tipped the effort over the bar, with the Frenchman single-handedly keeping Leeds in the game.

Forest continued to be wasteful in front of goal, and Leeds managed to hold on for the 1-0 win.
