Leeds United (4-2-3-1)
1 Kristoffer Klaesson
Not a whole lo0t he could do about the goal when it came. Made some decent stops otherwise. 7
2 Harvey Sutcliffe
Did not seem hugely troubled in a defensive sense, but going forward he had trouble synchronising with what his team-mates were trying to do in the final third. Can't knock his ability to be in the right place at the right time, though. Always seemed to offer an option to team-mates. 6
5 Charlie Cresswell ©
Will hate watching back how bullied he was by Evan Ferguson in the lead up to the goal, but very steady other than that. Not quite the power in the headers he had in the opposition box. Some heavy touches in the opening 10 minutes too. 6

4 Leo Hjelde
Bullied as Cresswell was for the goal by Ferguson. Enjoyed the licence he was given to get forward as a left-back in the second half and frequently popped up in advanced positions. 6
3 Liam McCarron
Seemed to get caught out of position repeatedly as Brighton kept finding space down his flank through right-winger Cam Peupion. 5
6 Nohan Kenneh
Popped up in quite advanced positions at times. Did not stand out for good or bad reasons. Brighton did seem to find a lot more space through the middle of the pitch when he was moved back to defence and out of midfield. 6
8 Jack Jenkins
Played some smart passes which got Leeds moving forward. Put his foot into a few crunching tackles too. Work rate was brilliant and always seemed to be appearing in the right places for the visitors. 7
7 Amari Miller
A very quiet performance punctuated by two efforts he should have done better with in the penalty box. Cut a very tired figure in the final 15 minutes or so. Booked. 5
10 Lewis Bate
Bordered on anonymous at points during the game. Showed a little more in the second half with some ball-carrying from deep, but very little impact on the match for someone of his quality. 5
11 Stuart McKinstry
One of the better performers in a fading first-half performance from the team. Hooked on the hour mark as he drifted out of the second half. 5
9 Mateo Joseph
Not quite the electricity of Monday's display in Romford. Still put himself about and showed some presence, but not real looks at goal. 5
Substitutes
12 Dani ven den Heuvel
14 Max Dean (on for McCarron h/t)
Brought the energy and tenacity you would expect. Didn't always have the quality to unlock Brighton, but something a little different to what had been a meek first half for Leeds. 6
15 Sean McGurk (on for McKinstry 60min)
Rattled the bar and brought some spring to the attack without it always resulting in clear-cut chances for the team. 6
