Paco Gallardo has named his strongest Leeds United U21s side to take on Middlesbrough this afternoon in York. Leeds have a chance of winning promotion and the Premier League 2 Division 2 title should they pick up maximum points today and Gallardo will have belief in the side he has picked to get back to winning ways.
The Spaniard has stuck with the side that drew at Stoke City on Monday night, with Morten Spencer lining up in the backline for the second game running. It seems as though he’ll be at centre-back alongside Jeremiah Mullen, with Diogo Monteiro and Kris Moore on the flanks.
Darko Gyabi and Archie Gray look set to play in the middle of the park once more, with Sean McGurk, fresh from his goal against the Potters, and Charlie Allen due to operate on the wings.

Sonny Perkins and Mateo Joseph start up front for the Whites and given their records this season they’ll be confident of finding the goals Leeds need to fire them back into the top division of English youth football. In order to win promotion this afternoon, Leeds need to beat Middlebrough today and hope that Southampton come up short at Norwich City.
