Paco Gallardo has named a strong Leeds United Under-21s side to take on Sunderland at Elland Road this afternoon. The Whites can go three points clear at the top of the Premier League 2 Division table with a result this afternoon and move a step closer to promotion back to the top tier of youth football.
Joel Robles steps down to the youth side to pick up some minutes between the sticks. The Spaniard’s game time has been severely limited since arriving in West Yorkshire in the summer and he’ll be happy for the run out.
Archie Gray gets his first start since returning from injury earlier this month and after signing his first professional contract, he’ll be striving to catch the eye. Mateo Joseph will be keen to mark his first England U20s call-up with strong performance, too.
