Dani van den Heuvel: Could do little about the opening goal of the game but handled everything else that came his way. 7
Kris Moore: Started on the left but switched to the right and shored things up considerably. Looked the part once more. 7
Diogo Monteiro: A steady performance at the back, helped to keep Villa quiet for large periods and looked tidy next to Mullen. 7

Jeremiah Mullen: Stepped inside after a couple of games at full-back and looked comfortable, contributed to a solid defensive performance. 7
Charlie Allen: Struggled to deal with the threat of Kadan Young in the opening stages and that led to the first goal but looked a lot more comfortable on the left after making the swap. 6

Archie Gray: Not his best showing but still ran himself into the ground. Relentless energy in the middle. 7

Georginio Rutter: Dangerous with his running game throughout and Sam Allardyce, who was in attendance, will have taken note. 8
Mateo Joseph: Played in a range of positions across the front line but never stopped running. Took his goal well and showed more than his fair share of classy touches. 8

Connor Ferguson (Allen 81): Got forward well when in possession. N/A
James Debayo (Perkins 87): N/A
