Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Monday, 28 March.
Claim made about Barcelona's Raphinha strategy
Barcelona are reportedly waiting to make their opening bid for Leeds United star Raphinha as the fate of the Whites will determine the fee required to secure his services.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed the Brazilian has two release clauses in his contract, one of which covers the possibility of relegation to the Championship and is set at '25 million', although the currency is not revealed.
The other clause is reportedly in place in case Leeds stay up and would mean a bid of '75 million' would be required to sign the Brazilian.
Although rumours of a move are rife, the 25-year-old remains on the books at Elland Road and will most likely be used heavily in the run-in as Jesse Marsch's side attempt to remain in the Premier League.
Former Leeds defender forecasts summer business
Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills has admitted he can see his former employers recruiting 'three or four' players during the summer transfer window.
He has also claimed he can see 'a couple going out' ahead of the 2022/2023 campaign, which Whites supporters will be hoping is spent in the Premier League.
Speaking to Football Insider, Mills said: "When you look at what Jesse Marsch is trying to do he will want three or four signings of his own to bolster the squad,
"We’ve seen how thin it has been, you can’t keep relying on players in their 30s to produce week after week at a high intensity. Plus, they need competition for places.
"I’m sure there will be changes in the summer. I can see three or four coming in and a couple going out. Who that is remains to be seen as of yet. Any new manager coming in with new owners effectively on the horizon then there will definitely be some business.
"Brendan Aaronson is a key signing. I don’t think Bielsa wanted him but Jesse Marsch is a long-term admirer of him and at £20million in this day and age, it’s not a huge amount is it?"
Transfer insider insists Leeds move would be 'real opportunity' for Serie A prodigy
A move to Leeds United would represent a 'real opportunity' for Bologna prodigy Aaron Hickey, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The 19-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Elland Road and was recently given his senior Scotland debut.
Hickey operates at left-back, a potential position of focus for Leeds considering the inconsistency of 2021 addition Junior Firpo.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones said: "If he was to go to Leeds United, it’d be a real opportunity to be playing in that first team because Junior Firpo was a big arrival from Barcelona, and he hasn’t really met expectations, I think it’s pretty fair to say, and now he’s injured as well."
