Leeds United transfer rumours as Whites linked with summer Club Brugge 'purge' amid duo interest

Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Sunday, February 19.

Leeds United eyeing up £30 million Canadian World Cup star Tajon Buchanan

Leeds United are reportedly 'one of many English clubs' that have taken an interest to Club Brugge winger Tajon Buchanan after his impressive season so far for the Belgian outfit.

The 24-year-old has made 15 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, netting once while providing three assists, while also playing in five of their six Champions League group stage matches where he notched another assist against Atletico Madrid in a 2-0 win.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Leeds have 'actively shown interest' in Buchanan, along with other unnamed English clubs. A name the report does include, however, is Serie A giants Inter Milan.

It's believed that the Belgian club are asking for upwards of £30 million for the Canadian international, who has 28 senior caps for his country and played in all three of their World Cup group stage matches.

Leeds United 'go back in' for Dutch star striker looking for 'quality leap'

Leeds United are believed to once again be looking at the possibility of bringing in Netherlands international Noa Lang after his strong start to the season for Club Brugge.

Lang, who starred under Louis Van Gaal for his country at the World Cup last year, has already scored seven goals and provided three assists this season in all competitions.

According to Calciomercato, the Whites have said they are 'interested' in the 23-year-old and claims that the star is aiming for a 'further leap in quality' in the summer transfer window.

Lang, whose transfer value is believed to be around £13 million, has been linked with a move to Elland Road in the past few windows and was also linked with AC Milan before they decided to sign Charles de Ketelaere.

It's believed that if Leeds were to go up against Milan again for the forward however, they'd be at a slight disadvantage due to the reported close relationship between them and Club Brugge that's already been established.
