Here are the Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Saturday, December 31.
Leeds United look to Premier League rival's star for goals
Leeds United are reportedly set on going after Southampton striker and Scotland international Che Adams in the January transfer window as it's believed 'money is tight' at Elland Road according to the Guardian.
They believe Adams is a 'potential option' for the Whites as they look to bolster Jesse Marsch's attacking force with usual regular Patrick Bamford still not fully fit due to injury.
While Rodrigo Moreno has been involved in 41% of all Leeds goals this campaign, netting nine times while finding one assist, Marsch has had to rely on his youth talent to find goals elsewhere on the pitch, meaning a swoop for Adams could be necessary if Bamford continues to be plagued by issues.
Leeds United 'preparing' to complete £14 million transfer by next week
Leeds United are believed to be ready to complete a £14 million deal for Red Bull Salzburg defender Max Wober as early as next week.
The centre-back has previously played under Whites manager Jesse Marsch for the Austrian champions, and can fill in at left-back - a position that has plagued the Whites over the past few years.
According to the Daily Mail, Whites officials are 'hopeful of a deal being concluded next week' and with the Whites just two points clear of the relegation zone, a new defender that can slide easily into multiple positions might be just what they need to avoid the drop.
